But one thing hasn’t changed.

And that’s something I’ve never taken lightly.

Starting a business takes courage.
You put your money on the line. You invest your time. You work evenings and weekends. You worry about things most people never see.
Sometimes you wonder whether all the effort will be worth it.
And yet, every morning, you get up and keep going.
I have tremendous respect for that.
Having run my own business since 2001, I understand that being your own boss isn’t always the freedom people imagine. There are responsibilities, difficult decisions, uncertain months and sacrifices that come with building something of your own.
That’s also why it genuinely saddens me when I see a small business in South Africa close its doors.
It’s someone’s savings. Their hard work. Their hopes for the future. Sometimes it’s the livelihood of employees and the families who depend on them.
I wish I could see every small business in this country succeed.
And while I know I can’t make that happen, I can make a difference to the businesses that put their trust in me.
That’s what motivates me to do what I do.

I started designing websites in 2001, long before WordPress became the platform it is today, before smartphones changed the internet, and before social media became part of everyday business.
I’ve seen trends come and go. I’ve watched technology evolve and the online marketplace become increasingly competitive.
Along the way, I’ve worked with businesses across a wide range of industries, from people launching their very first venture to established companies needing a more professional online presence.
It needs to create confidence, communicate clearly, make a professional impression and give potential customers a reason to take the next step.
