It is one thing to sell a product, and this will be a part of your income, but it is quite another to sell an idea. That is what you will be doing with network marketing. If you are not prepared to encourage others to join your business venture, you will not succeed with network marketing.

Another thing that you will have to be prepared for is the rejection that you are likely to face every day while you are running your network marketing business. There are some folks who just can’t handle this and they quit before they really give it a chance to succeed. Just remember that the more rejections you face, the closer you are to an acceptance. If you can keep this in mind when you are facing rejection, you will be able to withstand all of the negativity and rejection.

After all, you can increase your budget later once the business is generating an acceptable income.

The important thing is; you need to choose a program which delivers the very best network marketing training, because the way in which you’re trained, will have a direct impact on the way you perform. Additionally, while you’re receiving your training, you should observe which methods and which techniques work best because the chances are, you’ll be providing training in the not too distant future.

You see, times have changed and there is a much better way of getting your business off the ground and growing your down-line. You can actually run it in a way that prospects will be calling you to come and join your MLM business. Those who are still chasing down their prospects and trying to convince them to join the business are going to be completely obliterated by marketers who bring value to their networks and teams.

Struggling with a network marketing company was a way of life for me for almost 6 years. I called on my warm market several times looking for them to support my business efforts. Carrying products from house to house and having opportunity meetings on a weekly basis was not my gig. I felt humiliated by the negative comments people would make about the scams that I was involved in. Although successful to a certain degree, I did not make the kind of loot I was looking for.

It was the combination of the pressures of the day JOB and the increasing amount of work from my flailing business that drove me in search of a better way. I could not believe what I was missing. There are growing numbers of successful online marketers who are creating tremendous teams with absolutely no prospecting or cold calling. They talk to their family and friends about the weather and the news rather than their new proposition. How cool it that?

As you change the way you think about your business, make sure you are involved in a quality program. It has to hit your passion and purpose. Remember you will be living this business on a daily basis. You want it to be something you LOVE. Every home business has some kind of community you can plug into to gain insights and support. Make sure you become a major player in the community from the beginning.

If you are already involved in a MLM program, then step it up. Put yourself into a leadership role. Show your up-line and your down-line that you have value to add to the team and the company. Remember, people will follow a leader not join a business.

Here is where the first big change comes in. Stop marketing those MLM Company replicated websites. They all have the same content that every other rep is marketing with. How will you stand out from all of the other reps who are marketing the same business opportunity with the same website?

The real question is What are you bringing to the table? What value will you share with your new team members? This is what you want to market. What you want to do is brand yourself by sharing all of the valuable information that you bring to the table. The brand that you are selling is YOU.

Paying for leads, cold calling and prospecting your family and friends to grow your organization is an antiquated system that does not work as well as it used to in the age of technology. Bring value to the market, brand yourself, and stop struggling.

It was a bit humiliating when family members would ask what scam I was trying to get them into. Talk about frustrating. I did achieve a certain amount of success but not to the degree I wanted.

Once I reached the point of desperation, I went in search of a better way; and I found one. I am going to share with you what I have found to be a better way of growing my network marketing business. It is possible; in fact it is happening everyday all around. The top earners in this industry are creating their network of teams without cold-calling, prospecting, or asking family and friends to join their organizations. They have completely thrown away the old school way of doing business.

So, as you change the way you think about network marketing, make sure you select the right business for you. Does the business hit your core passion and purpose? Will it get you up early in the morning because you are looking forward to working the business? If the answer is yes, you got it right? When you are working at home, it is easy to get lost. Plug into the community that your program has available and mastermind with the top earners.

Lets say you are already involved in a home business. Are you active in the community? Are you a leader? Chances are you are not if you are reading this article. Plug yourself into the leadership role today. Take your talents and the values you have to offer share them with your up-line and your down-line.

The most bizarre thing I am going to tell you to do is stop promoting your primary business. Find a marketing system that will teach you how to brand yourself. A quality program will provide you with all of the training and ongoing support you will need to achieve your business goals.
