by Andrew Wood

Here are ten effortless ways to increase your websites response drastically with no cost associated with the improvements.

1. Add more content to your website, there simply isnt enough on yours. Why? Because you cant get enough content on your site especially if its good, relevant content. It will dramatically boost your search engine rankings and also the amount of time visitors spend interacting with your site.

2. Add Strong Benefit laden headlines to every page of your website instead of lame efforts like welcome to our club! One out of one thousand websites has strong sales copy, and they are the ones that are producing the best response!

3. Change your lead generation contest and promos every 60-90 days to keep them fresh! You need multiple ways to collect data running in key areas of your site simultaneously. Then you need to keep them fresh by changing them every 60-90 days.

4. Don’t just send e-mail special offers, enhance the content of every e-mail with jokes, tips, cartoons, funny stories and other content that adds value and makes it 100 times more likely that the player getting your e-mail might pass it on to someone else.

5. Add a blog and get someone, anyone, to blog every week. Blogs add excellent content, inbounds links and personalization to your companies website. They also provide an excellent and easy forum to solicit feedback. Internet marketing blogs are popping up everywhere. In this day and age your website is behind the times if you aren’t using a blog on your website. For example, they are becoming almost as popular as good marketing books for finding quality information about marketing. Going back five years ago you couldnt find any information about small business marketing one simple place, you had to find fifty or one hundred sites to compile a lot of good information!

6. Add a Twitter account reach younger people, boost your search engine rankings and get specials and news out in bite size flashes!

7. Ask more questions in your surveys then load a whole series of e-mail offers into your site that are triggered by your customers preferences. In that way you only send special offers to those customers who are most likely to be interested and respond. This dramatically increases your email marketing response rates and decreases opt out rates.

8. Add a Social engine, for your members or players to interact with others at your club.

9. Add a hover ad to your home page, one that must be closed to move on into the site. This will increase your data collection by 300% or more.

10. Build vertical mini websites for key income streams like membership, wedding and outings.

Get a comprehensive review and in depth report on how to maximize your Internet marketing strategy for just $1,500 and you don’t even have to use one of our sites!

Call me direct 352 266 2099 and Ill tell you how to maximize your internet investment even if you are with another company and believe me most of them need the help!

No matter how smart your website design is, if its hard to reach the content of your site then your site is as useful as an empty shell. Here are some tips to improve the uscapability of your website to insure it serves its functions optimally.

The first method is to insure the typography of your content is suitable. If you have large blocks of text, make certain to utilize CSS to space out the lines accordingly. The lengthier a single line of text is, the greater the line-height of each line should be. In addition, make certain the font size of your text is large enough to read simply. Some sites have 10-pixel-tall text in Verdana font; while that may look neat and tidy, you have to truly strain your eyes to read the actual text.

Make it easy for visitors to find content that they want on your site. If you have thousands of articles on your site and a sure visitor wants to find one single article from that pile, you have to grant a feasible means to enable visitors to do that without hassle. Be it an SQL-driven database search engine or just a glossary or index of articles that you have, providing such a feature will ensure your visitors may employ your site with ease.

Insure that your site loads fast if you do not wish to lose visitors. Most internet users will leave a website if it does not load totally within 15 2nds, so insure the best of your website is delivered to the visitors as soon as feasible to maintain their attention.

Last of all, test each and every link on your site before it goes online. There is nothing more effective in tarnishing your professional image than broken links, so be very wary about that.

Many successful websites depend on returning visitors to account for a major part of their traffic. Returning visitors are simpler to convert into paying customers because the more frequently they return to a site, the more trust they have in that site. The credibility issue just melts away. Thus, keep your visitors coming back to your site with the following methods:

One) Start a forum, chatroom or shoutbox

When you start a forum, chatroom or shoutbox, youre providing your visitors a place to voice their opinions and interact with their peers — all of them are visitors of your site. As conversations build up, a sense of community will likewise follow and your visitors will come back to your site almost religiously every day.

Two) Start a web log (blog)

Keep an online journal, or more commonly known as a blog, on your site and keep it modified with latest news about yourself. Human beings are curious creatures and they’ll keep their eyes glued to the monitor if you post fresh news predominantly. You will similarly build up your credibility as you are proving to them that there is likewise a actual life person behind the website.

Three) Implement Polls And Surveys

Polls and surveys are other forms of interaction that you should surely think of adding to your site. They endow a rapid way for visitors to voice their opinions and to get involved in your website. Be sure to publish polls or surveys that are strongly relevant to the target marketplace of your website to keep them concerned to find out as regards the results.

4) Carry Out Puzzles, Quizzes And Games

Just imagine how many office workers procrastinate at work every day, and you will be able to gauge how many people will keep visiting your site if you supply a very noteworthy or addicting way of entertainment. You may likewise hold competitions to award the extreme score winner to keep persons trying continuously to earn the prize.

5) Update frequently with fresh content

Update your site constantly with fresh content so that every time your visitors come back, they will have a good number of thing to read on your site. This is the most widely known and most effective method of attracting returning visitors, but this is also the least carried out one because of the laziness of webmasters. No one will wish to browse a site that looks the same over ten years, so keep your site altered with fresh bites!

by Ferdinand Emy

Today just about any individual who has writing ability and capacity or is dreaming to be a writer has written a blog in the world wide web. There are blog soft wares that are sane and simple and easy to utilize and a technically inclined and challenged people may without obvious effort acquire a blog online.

For many people, blogs are their source of livelihood,as they discuss their everyday sequences in addition to making tribute to friends and family. Moreover, blogs assume a formidable and unfathomed meaning written to compose and assemble political affirmations, endorse a product, supply info on investigation and exploration, and even offer tutorials. Any subject that are of your interests, you may be sure that a person has written a blog regarding it.

Blogs are now being written by musicians, politicians, sports figures, novelists, newscasters in addition to other known figures. Its this blog fever that has raised controversy. The fact that any individual may write on any issue of any subject matter under the sun, certain touchy write ups are subject to criticisms. In many blogs, names are being cited; do not forget that although you are eligible to write anything that interests you in a blog, you have to be very careful not to spark of a touchy controversy. Do not make any affirmations which may become controversial and debatable; or else,be very prepared to face criticisms and possible law suits.

Why a blog?

1. For personal acquaintances, relationships and spare-time activity, an individual may write a blog regarding his everyday actions, what is going on in his life. Blog provides this means of telling his family and friends the things that goes on in his life. Similarly, one can write a blog just so he may express what he feels regarding himself,or a certain subject matter that is of interest to him.

2. Topical. many blogs are dedicated to a particular topic, like computer hardware or politics.

3. For syndication. Corporations are too, into blogging; when well written, this form of blog may be a noble and powerful instrument for business communications, forming yearning, eagerness and anticipation when it comes to their product and services offered,or applied as tool within the market, keeping workers well informed of company issues and news.

Why a person’s else’s software?

A lot of web architect and creators will laugh at the idea of utilizing the software of another person. This is specially when every software principally is different from the peculiar necessities that a customer can have. Yet,when it pertains to a weblog software, there is not a reason on earth for discomfort and apprehension in the use of a platform that is pre-written,as most platforms were devised through years of study; not just knocked together over a small amount of days.

In addition, one can study its feature set. For a developer,it would take a great deal of time and solution to write and compose from nothing at all each single feature in the weblog software platforms of today. For most individuals, a blog is there for the main reason of publishing or making known your literature and texts on the web,so you want to spend your time more on writing than coding.

Hosted services

If one wishes to begin broadcasting on the web,yet does not have web hosting, one may look consider a hosted service, which includes blogger, typepad, live diary, wordpress and more.

These services are operated or handled for someone,so there is no cause to worry about the upkeep of ones weblog; rather, one should focus on his blog’s design and content. In just minutes, after signing up for an account, one may readily begin his own blog. numerous such services are offered free, such as blogger and wordpress. Typepad charges a minimal amount for monthly service fee.

Self-hosted

When one has web hosting on hand,or is eager to purchase hosting,in which one feels that the vantage will prevail over the troubles of keeping up your own blog connection and installation, then you can consider a package that is self-hosted,which includes movable type, textpattern and wordpress.

Other hosting companies did give rise to the routine of installation requiring little effort, allowing installation with just a click from control panel that is browser-based. It is necessary that you check with a hosting company so you may view whether or not this function is offered. Similar to hosted services, many self hosted packages have been made available either at no charge or for a certain fee which is dependent on the type of package that you choose in addition to the substance and reason why you are using it.

Be cautious and start your blog off correctly. It’s difficult to change directions and begin all over again.

Hire a website host for your blog if you can afford it, and verify that WordPress can be run on your server. “No Fee” blogging? A word to the wise: you get what you pay for.

Unless you are a computer wiz, be sure that whichever hosting company you select to host your blog includes WordPress and Fantastico in the package. WordPress is automatically installed with Fantastico. The other option is to download and install WordPress by yourself, which is difficult.

WordPress is easy to use and you do not need to be a computer programmer to be able to use it. It works as soon as it is installed, and you can begin blogging right away.

What makes WordPress better than others? WordPress has the most users. WordPress has been established for some time. A wide variety of themes are available in the WordPress library. (The appearance and feel of your blog can be altered with themes.) Unless you want to alter a function that cannot be done with ‘canned’ plug-ins, it is unnecessary to have any knowledge of designing or coding.

Plug Ins: You can add things to your blog with plug-ins. If you know PHP, you can make your own or you can select third-party plug-ins. The WordPress website offers plug-ins. There are quite a few of them and they do everything you can imagine — there is even a plug-in that will generate an XML sitemap of your site for Google.

You have the entire administrative control with your blog when you use WordPress. There are so many things that you can do. The user management functions of WordPress are excellent. For instance, authors can write articles and, upon approval, editors can publish those articles, while administrators can alter the design of the blog — but none will have “premisions: to do or alter the work of others.

Don’t waste hours of your time only to have to tear it all down and convert it over to WordPress.

Writing content for blogs and websites is an art form, and should be treated as such. Content creation is a professional skill that takes time to develop. Just as with anything else, the more you practice, the better you get. Engaging your audience is key. You have got to make them want what you’re offering.

Big words will not get you anywhere. Making your blog easy to understand is a top priority. Using too many big words or a lot of tech speak can alienate you from your audience. Most people expect easy to understand reading on blogs. Try to keep your articles conversational and easy to read.

Emotional response is another priority when it comes to writing. Whatever the response may be. Make them angry, sad, happy, lonesome. Just get a response. If you stir peoples emotions chances are they will be back to your site. Stir them the right way and they may even tell their friends about your site!

When you write content or when you blog, people should be able to identify with you. Do you ever read something on the Web and find yourself nodding your head in agreement, or find yourself getting fired up and ready to take action? It’s because the words that you’ve read sparked something in you. You were able to identify with the author, at least for that little bit of time. The more a person is able to do that the more successful he or she will usually be at content writing and blog creation, and the more readers and customer he or she will ultimately get.

Plagiarism is the enemy of any writer. Do not do it. Do not steal other peoples words. Everything on the internet is recorded these days, and with websites like CopyScape its pretty easy to catch people who are ripping off the work of others. If you get caught stealing you definitely won’t have many readers left! So stay away from copying!

Bloggers must choose a niche. Content writing should always be specific and to the point. But, blogs need to be even more niche specific. Stick to things you know well. Sticking to the topic will keep people reading for a long time.

It’s also very important, whether you’re writing for content creation or for effective blogging, that you know who you’re talking to. Sure, anyone could find your blog or your site and read it, but who are your normal, common, or standard reader? What age group are they in, what do they like to do, and why are they interested in what you have to say? No matter what you’re writing, if you want people to read it and respond to it, knowing your target market and catering to it is the most important thing you can do for success.

WordPress Step by Step Setup is a simple yet powerful program that has been created for users of all levels and experience by providing you with the information and tools you need to avoid common problems that occur during the setup process of a WordPress Blog. WordPress Step by Step Setup also allows you the ability to adapt the steps and information provided depending on what you needs are.

One of the most exciting benefits of the WordPress Step by Step Setup program, is that it is very easy to use and comprehend, with step by step instructions. No technical jargon here, we have written this so even the newest of Internet marketers can follow the process. Now that doesn’t leave out you more experienced marketers, there is plenty of info you can learn from the program as well.

The steps within the program are also editable. If you are working along something you want to add or edit, you can add it into that step. Just click on the step you want to change and click on the “Edit Task” button at the top of the program. For more advanced users there is an option available to actually “Add a Task”. This allows you the ability to add in your own specific tasks without editing the ones already available.

We understand that everyone has different ways they prefer to work. Sometimes you may have an easier time reading steps from a piece of paper instead of your computer. We have you covered with the addition of a “Print” feature that allows you to print out any step you want.

As many people know staying on task can be quite a challenge these days. Phone calls, family emergencies and everyday life in general has its own way of catching you off guard. The WordPress Step by Step Setup program has two features that will keep you on track. Firstly you have the ability to check off and even “hide” the completed tasks you have gone through. Secondly, there is an ability to schedule a “pop up” that tells you what step your working on currently.

Another powerful benefit of WordPress Step by Step Setup is the ability to transfer your current work to an external source such as a usb/jump or thumb drive or even a external hard drive. This allows you to take it with you wherever you go and as long as you have access to a computer you can continue you work no matter where you go.

Whether you have set up a WordPress blog before or not, you will find that WordPress Step by Step Setup will walk you through each step from the beginning. Starting off with the preparation of your blog, choosing domain names, finding a WordPress theme, installing WordPress on your host, a list of some of the best plugins and widgets available, right down to making your first post.

Know your audience. It’s been said a million times. But, this is the most effective skill that a professional blog writer can have. Writing creative, engaging content takes time and practice. Knowing your reader does too. If you want to be a great blogger, you’ll have to make your readers want to come back. You’ll have to find your voice.

Don’t talk over people’s heads with a bunch of technical jargon that they won’t understand. Most people don’t like that, unless you’re writing something very technical for a very specific market. Most of the Internet writing and blog writing is written between a sixth and an eighth grade level. That doesn’t mean that people are stupid, but only that they don’t want to have to work too hard to understand something. They are busy. They have things to do.

Emotional response is another priority when it comes to writing. Whatever the response may be. Make them angry, sad, happy, lonesome. Just get a response. If you stir peoples emotions chances are they will be back to your site. Stir them the right way and they may even tell their friends about your site!

Finding your voice is an important part of writing. Don’t be afraid to spice things up with some personality. After all, getting people to relate is easy if there is a real person behind the words. Voice and personality in writing is something that has to be discovered and cannot be taught. But it is essential to creating quality content.

Another thing you’ll need to consider for effective content creation is that people can and do plagiarize. Don’t do it. There are many ways to get caught anymore, and if you do you can get in a lot of trouble. It’s also not fun to find that your content has been ripped off by someone else. If you steal from others to fill up your site or blog you’ll lose all of the credibility you would have had with your audience, too, and who wants that? It certainly won’t keep people coming back!

Whether you are the owner of a new website, or an existing one needing a bit of ‘redecorating’ certain aspects need your consideration. You may want people visiting your site to see a very professional site. Perhaps your website caters more to children and family, and you want a family-friendly experience when they find your page.

Gone are the days when any web or graphic design meant hiring someone to do your website work for you. This inevitably meant spending money to obtain exactly what you wanted. And even then, there was no guarantee that was going to happen. There are many programs now available which permit you to completely redesign your current website, as well as helping you create the ideal first site. One of the easiest we have found to work with is Photoshop.

When you use Photoshop, you can easily have a finished product in your own style in no time at all. You’ll be doing the work yourself, using your own computer and on your own time you’ll be saving money from the get go. While choosing this method of creation for all your header needs, with your personal style and feel to them, you will simply have to add them to your site codes once you’re done. Let’s not get too far ahead of ourselves though.

To get started, open your Photoshop software and create a new image. You can set the size of your image, which will be your header, either by entering 1025 x 150 pixels (or whatever the size of your webpage may be) or by using the image-size tools available to you in order to set the proper dimensions you wish to work with.

After selecting the image outline or header, choose the tool which resembles a rounded rectangle. You must now drag this pointer to the top left corner of the image. Left click in order to draw a rectangle crossing from left to right sides of your image. This will show you the exact outline of your header section.

Continue by now selecting “Layer” from the navigation tool bar, which is found at the top of the window in which you are working. The next option you choose is the “Layer Style”, followed by “Add Drop Shadow” from the various options. There will now be a new pop-up window with the option “Drop Shadow, Inner Glow and Outer Glow.” Check the box in front of this option.

Next, you want choose the “bevel” option. This will result in the rectangle having a professional style with depth, added by your chosen shadow. Clicking on the “Layer” icon will add a new layer to your header.

We’re going to open the text tool now, dragging it to the top left corner of your image. Type here either the name of your website or company name. Have fun playing around with different font types, sizes and colors until you find what really suits your ideas. There are also other text option tools on the navigation bar at the top of the present window.

At this point we are going to add more style to your header. Start off by selecting the rectangle tool, then left-clicking the top right-hand corner. If you drag the pointer along the top of your header, you’ll create a smaller navigation bar at the top of the image.

You can now click the “Direct Selection” tool, and by left-clicking on it you can select the rectangle. You will now see small squares appear in each corner. By clicking the lower left corner and dragging it toward the right, you will create an angled edge for this new navigation bar.

If you wish to add color or effects to this upper navigation bar, you would be choosing the “Fill” tool and making your choices from the options there. You can also crop and/or cut your image to any exact size you may need with the “Crop” tool.

Since you want to be sure you don’t lose all of this work, click “File” then “Save for Web and Devices” and save this image. You might consider creating a folder to contain all your business website information so everything is kept together. Once your new header is saved, it’s time for you to upload it to the “Images” file of your website codes.

In order to add this new header to your web pages, you need to use it as a background image. You will be placing it in the first row of your first table of the website, right under where you see the head tag.

Now that all is said and done, you will be able to see just how easy it is not only to create your own website headers, but how they can be done for free. Depending on the goal of your website, you may decide to change headers for each season. Or maybe get creative with the headers for other pages of your website. There’s no reason why not. Besides, it’s free!
