How Much Is Your Time Worth

Before I get into the details of search engine and website marketing, I have to digress quickly and talk to you about *TIME* as you will be asked later on to make a decision based on your available time. (and because ranking on the search engines and getting your website to market effectively takes time)

What is your time REALLY worth?

You know, I have made and lost money on the Internet often... But in every single case I made the money back.  For every Rand that I lose I can make it back somehow or someway somewhere else...

Money is infinite, if I can make R100 I can make R1 000 000.  And every Rand lost I can recoup later...

But your time is FINITE....  Your life on earth is limited to only a certain amount of years, months, weeks, days, hours, minutes and yes seconds...  A set number of seconds from now, you will leave this earth...  Whether those seconds are in the trillions, billions or hundreds of thousands, no one knows, but it is finite, and sometime it is going to run out...

And every second that ticks by, is a second lost, is a second less that you are going to live, is a second less that you can spend on things that are really important, things that you enjoy, things that matter most. And every lost second can NEVER EVER be won back.  It is lost forever, you can not turn back the clock, you can not gain it back somewhere else if you wasted it by doing something that isn't valuable...

It always amazes me that most people place more value on their money, than on their time. Time on this earth is finite and will run out some day for you, whilst money is infinite, you can always make your money back or make more of it.  It will even still be here when you leave this place.

You can win back R1 should you lose it, but you can not win back ONE SECOND ever.... it is gone for always...

Why am I telling you this? Because search engine marketing takes TIME.  And you will need to keep this in mind as I show you the things that you need to do to make your website rank.

And you need to remember this and consider what your time is worth when you look at the different ways of marketing your website.
